About Haley Bagnaschi M.A., LMFT

Haley Bagnaschi is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who specializes in adoption issues and trauma. She graduated with her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Simpson University in 2014, but while still in school started her work with at-risk teens with extensive trauma backgrounds. Upon graduating, she was hired at a Foster Family Agency, working one-on-one with foster families in their homes and providing support and education. In 2016, she moved to a counseling center where she provided individual and family therapy and began specializing in foster care, adoption issues and trauma. Haley started her own private practice in 2018 where she currently sees clients and specializes in adoption issues. Haley has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused CBT, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She is a Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator and has completed the National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training and C.A.S.E Training for Adoption Competency (TAC). Additionally she serves as a trainer in the community, providing trainings to both foster and adoptive parents and mental health professionals on childhood trauma, adoption issues and best mental health care practices.

Haley is also mother of two amazing girls, one of whom is adopted. In her free time she likes to read, travel, get massages, sing karaoke with friends, and play with her kids.

Patrick is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, with nearly 13 years of experience in the behavioral health field, working with adults, youth, couples, families, and those in rehabilitation for substance abuse. A veteran, with a passion for local community and mental health awareness, Patrick believes in helping clients find healthy coping skills, process grief, loss and trauma, and grow to become healthy and balanced in their lives and minds.

A passion for art, photography, music, nature, and adventure keeps Patrick busy on his time off and balanced mentally, emotionally and physically. Patrick strives to bring his best to his clients and understands how crucial positive mental health is, utilizing effective therapeutic tools and a heart full of empathy to assist others in their journey towards growth.
About Dr. Christine Mayerchak, PsyD

Christine is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who relocated to Shasta County in 2013. During her career as a psychologist, Dr. Christine has enjoyed the ability to accompany people of all ages as they navigate their journey of healing, growth and uncovering of their Authentic Self. As the biological child of a parent who was adopted as an infant, Dr. Christine has a unique view and experience of adoption. Dr. Christine has also been a host mother to a foreign exchange student from Serbia, a relationship that remains close today. Dr. Christine is a double Reiki Master, and her interests and hobbies include crafting, being outside in nature, and spending time with her family.

About Melissa Stiliha, MSW

Melissa Stiliha is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Lori Steele, LCSW. Melissa has over 20 years of experience working for Shasta County Children’s Services and Trinity County Children’s Services. She and her husband, who is a Combat Veteran, are the adoptive parents to two children, ages 10 and 13. Melissa has both personal and professional experience working with Trauma, ADHD, Anxiety, and PTSD.
For the past two years, Melissa worked as an Educationally Related Mental Health Clinician for the Shasta County Office of Education where she worked with families and students who were struggling with behavior, attendance, or homelessness. Melissa has training in EMDR and TBRI and is passionate about helping families find hope, healing, and connection.

In therapy, Melissa believes in helping clients identify and utilize their strengths, while at the same time addressing past traumas and relational issues. The goal is to emerge with a better sense of who they uniquely are, and have more capacity to navigate the future.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, and playing with their family pets (3 dogs and 3 bunnies :).
About Brenna O'Callaghan, ASW

Brenna has over ten years of experience in the foster care system in several different aspects. First as a foster parent in 2013, social worker and now a clinician. She earned her Bachelor's in Social Work from Chico State University in 2016. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work and in December of 2020.
Brenna is an adoptive mother to eight children and specializes in special needs. She is passionate about empowering and advocating for the voiceless and is eager to empower foster/adoptive families and assist in their journey.
